Doodie, Doodie, Doodie

Nolan had an appointment today with a pediatric gastroenterologist. Finally. He'll be on a 3 day intensive bowel flush and then daily softeners until he gets things figured out. I don't think we'll be traveling too far from home over the next 3 days! The doctor was awesome. So if anyone needs a doodie referral just ask!

We got out and walked in the sunshine today and it was wonderful. I've got severe cabin fever to say the least.

Nolan's preschool teacher accepted a new position and this will be her last week teaching. He's pretty bummed. But the new teacher was there today and he took quite the liking to her so I'm sure he'll get over it soon.

Avrie's new favorite phrase: B, B, B Bapple (apple). It's too cute to correct.

Nolan's new comeback when I tell him "no". "But I love you, Mommy".

There is one father in our parent discussion group at school and he let out the secret of getting men to do things. Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Oh, and it's quite simple. I'd let the cat out of the bag but my husband reads this occasionally. And it's not sex. Although that does tend to work.

WHOOOHOOOO, spellcheck is B A C K!

ok so I have lived with dad for 31 years and i still need some hints on how to get him to do stuff too..although he is usually pretty good at getting stuff done.all his 10 minute jobs that we know take much longer than his estimation

okay, i feel like i'm blowing the secret way out of proportion. it's just things we know, but don't think about enough.

example: if you ask your husband to do something, don't follow behind and redo it when he doesn't do it "right".

example: telling him to take the kids with to the store or having the kid ask to go with. big huge difference.

example: honey, you look sooo HOT when you take out the garbage. you are soooo strong with the big heavy bags and i'm so weak. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Mindy: you don't know nolan's poop history?!? i can't believe i haven't whined about it to you. he's been #1 trained for a year. #2 never. and he's a holder as a result of chronic constipation because of .......... we have no idea. so we're starting a rigorous program with hopes it works.
