Cheri and I took the kids to the beach. Our verdict? Tying a balloon to the backs of our children would have been a stellar idea. The kids had a blast. We were, umm, stressed a bit!
love the balloon idea, i've tho't about doing the same. our local lake/beach has a some what private beach, just off the main beach. it makes it tons easier on us mom's.
And how. We let the boys play in a fountain in St. Louis one night on our way back to the hotel and I was about to come unglued... they kept getting out of my sight behind people. Blood pressure = sky high. Which was perfectly reflected in the pitch of my voice when yelling out their name.
Looks like you're enjoying summer... how I remember those days of counting heads at the beach. Very stressful on the moms and the kids are worn out from all the sun a the end. Good times!

yes, i remember going to jacksonville florida with 2 other mom's. we had 10 kids between us & i spent most of the time counting to 10!! yikes!
