Avrie's Beary Fun Weekend!

Meet Ted E. Bear! He came home with Avrie from school on Friday. He spends the weekends with the kids and they write up a little report on how they spent their time. Avrie certainly had a blast with Ted.

Friday - - We got home from school and played with Grandma Char. She read us lots of books and played Fairy House. After she went home we packed our overnight bags for a sleepover at Great Aunt Cindy's apartment. We went swimming, had pizza, cupcakes, root beer floats and spent the night.

Saturday - - Grandma Gwen and Grandpa Vernon were at our house when we got home from Cindy's! Grandma, Mom, Ted and I went to a baby shower. I put Ted in the corner and played dress up the whole time. We were just walking out the door to leave when I remembered poor Ted. I had two cupcakes at the shower. One for Ted. They were pink and delicious.
On the way home we stopped at Trader Joe's. We found Doodle-Doo and got a treat. Then we went to Costco and got samples. And some other stuff.
Then we snuggled and played games and watched Stuart Little for the rest of the day.

Sunday - - We went to church meeting. Ted was very good. Better than me. He sat still. I didn't. Then we drove around looking for a place for lunch. Grandpa was hungry for pizza. We went to Broadway and had sauerkraut pork pizza and chicken/ham/pineapple/bacon on white sauce. I ate two bites. And was starving when we got home. Imagine that. I think my Mom has taken over this commentary.

Monday - - We ran errands with Mom. Real important ones like going to three grocery stores to find ground cardamom to make some special cookies for my good friend who has a birthday this month. We went to the Y too but Mom made me leave Ted E. in the van. Something about losing him. As if!
Monday nights are bible history class nights. My mom was trying to do way too many things at once without Daddy home to help and my poor little brother pushed a chair up and put his wee little precious hand on the super duper hot pancake griddle. He cried and cried and cried for two whole hours with only a few little breaks. So, Dad, Nolan, Ted and I put on our jammies and went to bible history class without Mom and Cole. I sat with my birthday friend at the class. She liked my pink bracelet and I told Mom she needs one for a present because she doesn't have her own. Oh, my brother is fine. He just has some blisters. He forgot about it when he woke up in the morning.

The End. Except for the cute pictures of me. And Ted.
