A Note About the Poll (Possibly TMI)

Can't say I'm too surprised about the results of the poll. I didn't vote, but I'd have to say I'd join the 1% being I'm pregnant, in my 2nd trimester and have an extra 3 pints of blood.

It seems we're all a bit embarrassed about how much we check our email. I think I need a 12-step program. I check mine so often that it's like I'm instant-messaging sometimes. Right Cheri? I honestly have no idea how often...50x/day? More? Maybe they should have a tracking button on Yahoo!. I tried to restrict myself once and lasted about 12 hours. I seriously think I get a self-esteem boost every time I have mail from an actual person. As a SAHM it's my link to the world.

Now, I wonder what the 2% are too embarrassed about?!!!

**I just checked my history for the morning and I've checked my mail 9 times since 7:00 and it's only 8:55. Help! Or email me so I don't have this sinking disappointment when I have an empty inbox.

Maybe you need to get the yahoo toolbar, it tells you in red how many new messages you have!

My sister is in nursing school and she has a theory that pregnant women carrying boy babies have an increased sex drive because of the male hormones that go into making a boy baby. She is due in august with a girl, found it interesting. She polls all her friends about how they felt with boys or girls...

but then i don't have the suspense while the page loads...a whole second of "do i? do i?"

i do have the yahoo tool bar...and i've never noticed the red message alert thing....now you'll have to send me an email so i can see for sure...heeeee, i'm so sneaky.

oh goody! i can talk about sex in my comments...maybe my relatives don't check them. well, mom does. hi mom!

i dunno if my drive is much different from when i was pregnant with avrie. with nolan it was nonexistant and i think we went three months without....seriously. but that could also be attributed to anti-depressants. but this time around....sheesh. if only we weren't so tired at the end of the day!!

oh, and the dreams. my gracious. who needs the real deal when you have dreams like me?

i'm with you on being too tired by the end of the day & my husband leaves way to early in the morning, but weekends. hmmm, weekend mornings are great! oh & i'm also with you on the dreams - maybe i'm having a boy too?!

I'm also with you on the dreams. The next day you're wondering if it actually happened, you can't remember because your brain is mush...we have a rule that if it's not done by nine, it has to be my idea. Oh, and I'm starting to see the appeal of daytime sex, even if I have to re-do my hair! Boy, to meet you all in person....! I'm putting you up as a link from my blog, I always meander over anyhow.

i am way, way too self concious for daylight sex. i can hardly have a candle on. i have issues with eye contact too...it weirds me out. so our morning/afternoon delights are far and few between and never for me!

You have too many issues- period.

oh, thanks for reminding me i need to take off anonymous comments. and if you're so not into me why do you read my blog? i think you're the one with issues if you can't strap on a pair and post with your name.

and aren't issues what make us normal and human and interesting? must be boring being perfect.

wow...anonymous needs to get a life. i agree shannon, we all have issues, which makes us, oh whats the word...HUMAN!! and being naked in front of someone obviously brings some of them to light, ha ha. i love how open you are on your blogs...it's very refreshing hearing someone else talk about issues that you have too!!

one of the unwritten codes around here as far as i know is...if you can't say anything nice don't say it! that's one thing i like about blog land is...lets all be nice and we look to the comment section for POSITIVE feedback. I've noticed some anonymous comments elsewhere as well that are lurking in the negativity territory?? believe me..i'm not a police person but...it's kind of a bummer to come across negative comments..sorry you had to endure one Shannon! and regarding hormones...enjoy your 20s and 30s cuz somewhere in the translation to 40s a lot of them have flown the coop! maybe i should get pg again?? hee hee.

what?! and here i've been looking forward to the prime of the 40's that i've heard so much about!!

Wow, that was harsh....you are beautiful though, and I'm sure Evan thinks so. I love your honesty, so maybe that's where you make up for it.

WOW, this sure is one interesting message board! I, too, love how open you are about everything...you're teaching me to open up more! What else are SAHM's supposed to do/think about?? It's been too long since I've been PG to remember any gushy details to share...sorry!! And as far as anonymous goes....GO FLY A KITE!!!

I too love reading your blog because you so open, wish I could be more like that.
For me it was opposite. I was more into it with Kylie, but with my Nolan I had no interest.
I don't remember my dream, just know that some were really really weird
