MINNEAPOLIS — Naked sushi is coming to Minneapolis. The dining fad of eating sushi off a woman or man naked — except for some strategically placed banana leaves and flowers — started in Japan.It has swept through Europe, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. Now it's coming to the Twin Cities, in blustery March.Thom Pham has scheduled a naked sushi night at Temple, his downtown Minneapolis restaurant, on March 8. He says he's hired eight models for the night, six women and two men. He says they have to be completely hairless with perfect skin for the event.He's booked more models than he needs, just in case one of them gets a pimple.Tickets for naked sushi night cost $75, which includes sushi, sake and champagne.Seriously!? I can't even imagine. It must be all single people who would attend this. I can't think of many any wives who would be okay with their husbands eating sushi off a naked model.

Yes... I suspect this is usually a male dominated event - thus the reasoning for only having two male models. People are weird.
Shannon, I read your past blog entry about eating out and well I understand. However I am extending you and Evan an invitation to dine with me at this Sushi Bar on my dime. So hows about it? haha
How about you take just ME out and we'll leave Evan home....far away from the fleshy females. I'll even be generous and let you have all my sake.
I saw this on TV once, but the models (all women) weren't skinny...very greasy, sumo wrestler types. These guys were eating all kinds of fruit and meat, cheese dip and spreads off their bodies.. Not pretty. I agree with you though, they come up with all kinds of entertainment involving naked (or nearly naked) women for our men. I hate this even when i'm not pregnant.
I can't imagine thinking "hmm what should we do for dinner tonignt honey? I know! Lets go eat sushi off of some naked people!"
I love sushi but I tend to want to eat it without naked people for a serving dish! ;) Call me crazy!
