I bundled up the kids and froze halfway there until the heater finally kicked in. We ate breakfast #2, which I was actually impressed with being it was only $.99. Drug Avrie kicking and screaming from the kiddie area in the cafeteria. Everyone looked at me like I was pinching her...which I may have been just a little. Dropped Nolan off at the playland/daycare and carted Avrie off to find bowls. Found the bowls, which weren't as cheap as I remembered. Also found some art stuff for my
I tried to have a hot bath last night but our hot water heater isn't hot enough for me. Evan actually brought me two boiling teapots full of water to warm it up. And it was his idea.
*The kids were painting last night and I discovered that my husband has quite the talent with the brush. I took a picture of it and will post it later. So, I'm jealous of that as well. Just feeds my lethargy.
I'm just so jolly and inspiring today. Is it okay that I'm still ignoring my kids and haven't fed them lunch and it's after 2? Hey, we did have 2 breakfasts today.

it seems like the days the mommy most needs a nap the kids absolutely refuse. we ate at micah's school today and now my gut hurts. think it's related?
ya think =) what did you have the pleasure of eating!?
we had club sandwiches w/ yucky meat and fake cheese, canned veggie soup, canned peaches and broccoli and cauliflower. right now i'm eating a version of the salad you fixed for us. that hits the spot!
it's hailing here! very goofy weather. I've never been to IKEA in my life! It sounds neat! I always feed my kids the wrong time of day..breakfast anytime between 6-12 lunch usually 2ish or 3 and Supper is 8 at night most the time. Hope you get some good rest soon ( hope!!)
hey how'd you get that cute little jughead icon to show up?
i have a love/hate relationship with ikea. we have a few things we LOVE but we HATE going there. and, honestly, most of their stuff is cheap crap. but you can get some quality stuff if you search and are willing to face the mobs and put it together yourself.
I love going to Ikea! We count how many people we see leaning against their cart to ponder a purchase, and finding themselves flat on their backsides. good times.
I hate IKEA shopping carts too!! It's like they slide to the side instead of going straight. Chris loves those carts and since I can't stand them I make him push it while we shop. :o)
Sounds like a rough day! Hope things get better!
A heat lamp would be the next best thing! Seriously, I had my husband put one over my scrapbooking table (started out to be for better lighting) but now it feels like I'm scrapbooking in a tanning bed. It's awesome! Hope tomorrow's better for you!
hey, i thought of you last evening. i am taking a PIYO class. pilates and yoga combined. i need to get out of the house, and this is 1 hr a week in the evening (and it works for having jon home with the kids). remember we tried it on the cruise? i'm still a little giggly during PIYO tho...
I hate these kind of days. I got free tanning for three months when we signed up for our gym membership. It ends on Thursday. I'm bummed. :(
Oh, don't we all have days like that. Speaking of painting, John really should be off to work right now but I got out watercolor paints for the boys and John is painting and whistling. I think he's having more fun than the kids.
