We surprised Avrie a month ago with an early birthday gift. She had no words. Jumping up and down repeatedly sufficed! She's a very docile kitty...an important factor when Avrie is your master!
Worth every dime. And the litter, hair, hairballs.
After all, I remember what it's like to love them. I mean, look at how much I'm loving that tabby!
i love the "headboard" picture too! in fact, it's the only thing i like about her room! it's due for a makeover...but it's a big project so i'm waiting till fall when the kids are back in school. the colors do not jive with the rest of the house and her room is a walk-through so i'd like to coordinate at least! i added two more pictures to the post after you commented =)
we adopted her from an agency through petsmart. she is only a year...never had a home...found as a stray. she's a perfect kitty. i added up the costs of spaying/neutering and vaccinations and it was cheaper to just adopt versus getting a free kitten and needing the surgeries/shots.
You are an awesome Momma! Our boys are still begging for a puppy and guess what?... they have non-pet people for parents. poor dears. Avrie is sooo her mother's daughter!!! Look at how much she looks like you. Ke-YOOT!
we have never once taken our cats to the vet. are we horrible? it just seems that when you are in the country with outside cats that they don't live all that long.
yup...avrie is her moms daughter..almost to a T.. Her dad claims he hates cats but we have too many stories of how he saved kitties from being too cold in the winter..etc... and my scratch/gouge I got from Trixie is healing and the scar will be minimal:)

What a fun surprise!! Also - LOVE the pic on her wall and would love to see a full shot of Averie's bedroom.

that's the way we went with Kylie's kitten...way cheaper to adopt!
I'm with you...they are worth all the hassles :)

Looks like a fun surprise! Love the pictures -- both the ones from this decade and a couple ago :-)
