- Bought myself a present today with my birthday gift cards. Mark Bittman's How to Cook Everything. I'm psyched. I'll dig up some spare time somewhere in the next 10 years to read it.
- Avrie is currently throwing a massive fit of rage because I won't buy her an Ariel beauty salon setup.
- Nolan refused to participate in Wacky Wednesday at school today. Anyone else have kids who think such things are ridiculous? I had to practically pay him to wear his pajamas to school last year.
- Cole will randomly throw out full sentences. Other than "owwie, ow and no" he has no language. Aside from those full sentences. Did I mention those? "I don't know. I'll be right back." But, he's pretty darned stinkin' cute. He manages to get his way 99% of the time because I'm a sucker. Sure, I'll spank his behind if he's being naughty...but it's followed by kisses. Hmmm...not sure it's so effective that way.
See how much I need inspiration? Zzzzz. I even put myself to sleep.

I personally feel that you should update with whatever you want. i do that and I'm surprised at how many comments i get on a post i don't think is all that exciting.
i enjoy reading/seeing your kids but i enjoy reading about you too. especially your super buying deals from that second hand store :)
I'm super excited to read your posts....keep em coming, girl!
i was just reading about that mark bittman book. let me know what you think.
oh mindy. i've been in lust all afternoon. it's fantastic. no pictures...so if that's your thing you may not like it. but, it's fantastic. have i said that yet?
Post a little bit of EVERYTHING!! :) It's the everyday, ordinary stuff that I like to hear about. People (me, included!) just want to hear about LIFE and what that is for you. :)
I love anything you post!
Oh Posts! I love your posts. Write more about your food! Why we should eat well. What is xanthum gum that is in everything I want to buy and just reading it makes me think it's bad but it might not be becuase I am not as well read/taught/self-learned as you are. And that hair, incredible.
everyday life- that's the thing. Because we all have it!
And- I love stuff about kids! They're so cute!
i'm just glad to see you back! ha! i like a mixed bag...even though your kids are amazing and beautiful and smart as whips...i kinda like to hear about you and your adult life...oh, do you have one? you're kinda busy with the little ones at this stage in life...i didn't even know how to email back when my kids were your kids' ages so it's amazing you get any posting done! love eveything you write!
