Old Mother Hubbard...

went to her fridge...

Don't look at how dirty my shelves are. My fridge looks like this quite often these days. I'm ready to GRILL, GRILL, GRILL. I'm sick and tired of trying to figure out what to feed my family. We actually managed to eat a balanced meal last night. Believe it or not.

Wow, I'm SO glad I'm not the only one who's fridg looks like that (and I'm not talking dirty shelves, which I didn't see anyway). I have a friend, and I'm always amazed everytime I open her fridg. It is PACKED! with food too, not left-overs or misc!

Wow! Where's the ketchup, mustard, dill pickles, sweet pickles, mayo, ranch dressing, italian dressing, tobasco sauce, lemon juice, butter, jelly, applesauce and on and on? I wish I could get mine that clean out!

neisha--we had calico beans from the freezer and pantry (ground beef, pinto beans, lima beans, bacon, molasses, ketchup, brown sugar) and homemade buns. dessert was oranges and pears that were on the counter. milk to drink. so, we didn't have any veggies...guess it wasn't as balanced as i thought.

susan -- i didn't take a picture of my door...here is what there is:

maple syrup, jarred garlic, jam, fresh ginger, red curry paste, marmalade, a-1, grey poupon, chocolate syrup, lemon juice, sesame seeds, almonds, walnuts, pickles, mayo, siracha, olives, butter, fish sauce, tamari, yellow mustard.

wow, my fridge looks very much the same. i am able to pull off supper tonight & breakfast tomorrow, but don't ask me what anyone is having for lunch. i've been trying to decide if i want to take a 7 year old, 5 year old & 7 month old to the store tonight. or, if i'd rather go tomorrow (when i might have more energy) & tote along a 5 year old, 19 month old & 7 month old. what would you do?

mindy -- i'd dig in the freezer. or ditch out after all the kids are in bed...but i think you do tj's so that wouldn't really work.

i made supper & then the baby & i took off right away. i didn't eat, but it felt good to escape the nightly routine. or so i thought. i came home & nothing was cleaned up & even though it was bed-time the kids were out in the shed w/ craig. grrrrrr!!!
