Mothers are all slightly insane. -J.D. Salinger
Excuse the crude video and the messy kitchen. I can never peel my hardboiled eggs becaues the eggs are always too fresh. This is awesome. Beyond. Has everyone known about this but me?!?
hey that is neato..however i will save that experiment for a later date as we have makings for cchip cookies all over the kitchen..had some in the bowl to make into cookies though after the dough tastes.
Awesomeness!! Did you put the baking soda or whatever they suggest in the water, too? Now I want to try it!
That is the neatest thing I have ever seen!!.......so, no, I didn't know about it either! how do you do it, exactly?!
That is interesting. We'll all have to try it.
That is great! I wonder how long it took that scientist to figure out how to do that! The best part of that video is watching Cole. How do you get him to sit up in the sling like that?
i just saw a video on it the other day. looks a lot easier!
LOL...you are much more skilled at "slinging" than I! Saw another video, but I like your sound effects better.:0)
whaaaaa? step by step verbal cues please cuz it looks like magic to me????!! I have never seen that done before? yikes!! there goes all my excuses for making potato salad etc. Gotta try it!
I tried it once but couldn't get it to work. I'll have to give it another go.
i did add the soda...i think that plays a crucial part. it's a little hit or miss...i got the first two to work perfect but the next 3 failed...
a couple years ago kris let me in on her egg trick. she boils her eggs, runs her fingers under very cold water, grabs an egg, runs it breifly under water, the peels it. there is something about the hot egg, cold shell that makes it peel quite easily. And it is still a HOT boiled egg. that is unless you have hours old fresh eggs. if that is the case i wonder why it wouldn't work to put the soda in the boiling water.another trick..poke a hole in one end with a large needle and they won't break..
