I love, love, love the thrift store here in Rochester. I can't help it when I find those awesome deals. I just zip right through all the clothes and check out the high-end named ones. I can't believe that I used to go to American Eagle, Abercrombie, etc. Last summer, I piced up a red pair of kids goloshes. I filled them both with dirt, cut a hole in the toe of one and planted impatients in them and put them in my flower garden. I bought them for a buck.

What thrift store do you shop at? I went to Unique Thrift recently with Sherilyn Beasley & got some good bargains, but it sounds like you did awesome!!

Unique, Unique, Unique! The one in Burnsville is the best but I settle for the one a mile from us. Savers is nice but too expensive and Goodwill has upped their prices too. Unique tends to overlook brands...like my J.Crew dress was only $4.75 and at Savers it probably would have been $20.

Yes, I've noticed that Goodwill & Savers are getting too expensive too. I'll have to check out the Unique in Burnsville next time I go to Dr. Irestone. Next time you're over this way we'll have to go to Fish in river Falls. Sometimes they have sales where you can get 2 things for a quarter!! They also seem to have no clue about brands & often put women's clothes in the kids' bins where it is cheaper. In New Richmond they have an old barn that is a thrift store from like May to October. Everything on the 1st floor is a quarter!! Let me know when you want to go shopping!
