Summer To-Do List

I saw this post and just had to replicate. We all had fun coming up with ideas. What's on your list?

Summer Days...

Beachin' it. Nolan found 83 snails in the lake yesterday. We got a good counting lesson in. Wouldn't want to go all summer without a little old-fashioned education, eh?!

My lawn mower.

Pleased as pie to be nekkid in the swing.

Is this a picture of summer or what?

They do love each other. Sometimes.

Nolan's B-day Party Pictures...Belated...

Nolan shared his birthday with his cousins this year. T is in May, Nolan in June and G in July. They had a camping themed party with a sleepover on the living room floor at Aunt and Uncle's house!

I made a s'more cheesecake.

That tasted exactly as good as it looks.

And s'more cupcakes.

Birthday Boy!

Grandma and Cole

We got Nolan a bigger bike.

Hobo bags for favors.

I love this!

Happy 5th Birthday, Nolan!

I have a 5-year-old. Gah! Where does the time go? Today was Nolan Day. We had an absolute blast all day.

Started things out right with breakfast in bed. French toast, banana and a smoothie. I had filled up his bed with balloons just before he woke up.

We got to Como just as they were opening the gates.

Playing with Avrie in the park area of Como Town. I'm considering a season pass. I really think we'd get our money's worth.

Oh, and then there is this cutie! He was a champ...rode in the stroller without a single fuss. His favorite part of the day? The train ride. He screeched with laughter the whole time. And it's a really lame ride.

The Frog Hopper. 4 times in a row.

Driving school. Word must have gotten out that Nolan was behind the wheel...he was the only kid on the course.

Sticks of joy. Not so joyous for the pocketbook.

CPK for free birthday lunch.

Went to see UP. Super cute movie. We only had to leave once for a bathroom break. Cole slept the entire time. I'm sure Nolan will dream of balloons carrying away our house tonight.

I can't believe he's 5.

Hello!

I LOVE the vacuum cleaner. I like to be pulled along behind. Mom even lets me try all by myself!

Nolan caught the first 6 fish!

Long summer days make for an exhausted little girl. She fell asleep peeking under her door two nights in a row.
