New pictures

Staying at home today since the weather is so icky. Nolan wants to go outside and build a snowman but he doesn't have any mittens, boots or snowpants. So Daddy will have to stop on the way home and pick some up. Hopefully the snow lasts long enough to go out and play for a bit. We are really looking forward to sledding this year...Nolan didn't really like it last year. We have an awesome sledding hill right up the street. You're scared for your life the whole way down!! Very fun! Mom and Dad went with us over X-mas last year.
Grandpa and Avrie having a nap. Avrie in a mini! She's at an age when it actually looks cute!
Nolan in a bag. This kept him entertained for at least an hour. The bag was strong enough to hold him and he wanted to be carried around.

$tarbucks

So, I went to Target to return some moldy grapes and flavorless oranges and decided I needed a pick-me-up from Starbucks. So, normally I just get plain coffee because it's cheap(er), but I wasn't in the mood. I got a Peppermint Mocha. Do some people seriously think this is coffee??? I paid over $3 for 1,000 calories and a sugar crash. Okay, it was really good but so totally not worth it. To top it all off, I'm wide awake and would rather be having a nap! Guess I'll head to the treadmill and work on those 1,000 calories.

Sniffle

I've got some new pictures of Avrie but I'm too lazy to upload them. Both kids have horrible colds so I'm suffering too. Didn't get much sleep last night...poor Avrie couldn't breathe. Finally put her in her swing so she was upright and she slept for 4 hours. Check out the new link I added to Etsy...I'm very addicted.

Raspberries!

Avrie starting blowing raspberrie's yesterday! She really gets them spraying too!
This morning we went to a really cool indoor playland literally 3 minutes away...never been there before. We were there for 2 1/2 hours before Nolan got hungry. It's better than Edinborough Park...at least I thought so. Really clean too.

Made Boeuf Bourguignon for supper last night. Turned out really well, a little saucy though. I'll have to boil off some of the liquid tonight so it's more like stew and less like soup.

Someone is coming tonight to pick up the giant drafting table that is taking up our whole basement. We tried selling it on Craig's List to make some money, but no one wanted to buy it. Plenty of people want it for free though. So, we'll be getting our basement back! Yay!

Oh yeah, I ended up getting $41 for the stuff I took to Once Upon A Child...and they gave me over half back!! I was VERY happy! It helped me get some of my arms and legs back from the monkey outfit!

Colic is gone.

Yay! It was short-lived. Not sure what was up with her. Here's some new pictures. I got the monkey outfit at an alternative craft show. It was made by a woman with one hand. I have no idea how she knitted it. She has her own business...her site is in my links list..Hazel&Melvin's Room. She's got some really cool stuff. I chopped my arm and leg off to pay for the outfit, but it was worth it. Sooo cute and I helped support a local businesswoman! The pants have a tail on the back =)

Evan and Darren went to the Wild game tonight. Amy and I are taking a Yoga class on Monday nights...last night was the first one. Very fun and peaceful time away from the kids!

December Already!

Wow, this year sure has gone fast! This time last year I had just conceived!

I went through all of Nolan's too small clothes today and picked out the stuff I liked and would use again and am taking the rest to Once Upon a Child to make some money. Hopefully I'm not really dissapointed with how little money I get. One time I went through my bookshelves and took a ton of books to Half Price Books hoping to make at least $20-30 and they gave me $2. I was so dumbfounded that I just said 'okay' and took the money. I could have made my $20-30 if I would have sold them at a garage sale. I only got a couple cents a book. Grrrr.

Evan is busy painting the basement...Nolan is 'helping'.
